Methods of Responsible Tourism

• Preparing travelers to minimize their impact while visiting sensitive areas
• Preparing travelers for each encounter with the local cultures and with native plants
• Using adequate leadership and maintaining small enough groups, ensuring minimum group impact on destinations. Avoid areas that are over visited.
• Ensuring managers, staff, and contract employees know and participate in all aspects of company policy to prevent impacts on the environments and local cultures..
• Giving managers, staff and contract employees access to programs that will upgrade their ability to communicate with, and manage clients safely in a sensitive, natural and cultural settings
• Contributing to conservation of the region being visited through voluntary donations and permit fees.
• Providing competitive, local employment in all aspects of business operations.
